鄂东两个结拜兄弟周云亭和贺紫恒。周酷爱麻将，且算学出众，贺喜好篆刻，国学出众。二人一起入督学府求学，周无奈临行前，周将家里的生意及未婚妻托付给贺照料。周的未婚妻是贺的初恋情人，可现实不如意，朝夕相处俩人饱受相恋之苦，要逃离东渡日本。周在日本结识建川，因俩人有共同爱好，而成为朋友，建川开设赌场，让周经营，以谋暴利。后抗战爆发，周随建川回国，因建川想获取贺家祖传篆刻秘籍，而设计陷害贺，周为了救兄弟而惨遭入狱。周请贺为自己刻制了中国第一副石刻现代麻将，周云亭四处同各路高手切磋麻将，因其牌技高超所向无敌而被官方重用。后因一场赌局而得罪黑社会，端的痛苦，在狱中他做了一手大牌，可海底自摸起来却是一张白板。。陈凡身为柳家下人，备受柳家压迫，爷爷被柳家少主开车装死，妹妹被逼嫁给柳家少爷为妾，陈凡上门讨要说法，却被打断四肢，丢出柳家，乞讨十年；陈凡忍辱负重十年，本想一击毙命，却不想功败垂成……。A group of young pilots in a remote region of the Canadian wilderness begin to hear strange reports over their radios about planes crashing, cars stalling and a deadly plague which has gripped the planet. It becomes clear that earth is in the midst of an invasion. The group of pilots decide to barracade themselves in a cabin deep in the woods and wait for their impending doom.。
