本作は甲斐が20年以上をかけ構想し書き上げたオリジナル作品。舞台はそう遠くない現代、国家が推進する延命治療として、一定の階級より上の人間が病に侵されたとき、自分と同じ見た目の“それ”が提供されて病の身代わりになるという設定で展開される“命の問題作”だ。。A young girl who lives on a tropical island loses her parents to a voodoo sacrifice, but although she manages to escape the island, a curse is put on her. Years later, as an adult, she feels a strong compulsion to return to the island to confront her past.
