影片讲述了法国18世纪的著名走私贩路易·曼德兰（Louis Mandrin）以及他的继承者的故事。让·塞巴斯蒂安（Jean Seratin）为了他的主人前往寻找一位路易·曼德兰的忠实膜拜者贝利撒（Belissard），贝利撒也是一群侠盗的首领。让向他索要路易·曼德兰写的诗集。贝利撒派他押送书籍，中途却被官兵抓走。最后他被救出，侠盗们重重地反击了士兵，举办了盛大的宴会来庆祝这场胜利，并阅读了路易·曼德兰的诗。。动画作品《Little Busters!
