After rudderless 26 year old Ellie learns that her estranged, alcoholic father has died, her world is disrupted and she begins a journey that takes her to small-town Texas, where she finds direction, family, and friendship in this most unexpected place.。《壮美广西》是由中央广播电视总台（中央电视台）中文国际频道、广西壮族自治区党委宣传部、广西广播电视台联合制作的纪念改革开放40周年暨广西壮族自治区成立60周年的5集纪录片。。当年正处于双十年华的奥地利女星海蒂·拉玛（当时的艺名是海蒂·吉斯勒），在片中饰演一个嫁给老夫的少妻夏娃，因为得不到性的满足而偷恋陌生的青年骑士亚当，最后导致老公受不了而自杀。 本片在第二届威尼斯影展中获得最佳导演奖，虽是一部公认的艺术电影，可是因片中有大量的女体裸露镜头，故曾在美国查禁。海蒂当时年少无知，听任导演摆布，配合演出了一些裸露和激情场面，包括湖中裸泳、林中裸奔、以及跟青年骑士亲热时的“狂喜”表情等，在1930年代显得相当大胆，幸而导演也用了很多象征式的描写，把影片拍得尽量高雅和诗情画意，而男女主角取名亚当与夏娃，喻意也明显不过了。此片捧红了海蒂，使她进军美国的电影界成为好莱坞巨星。。
