影片讲述三个发生在伦敦100条街道上的故事。故事主角有一个退役后的橄榄球球星﹙伊德里斯·艾尔巴饰演﹚和他的妻子﹙杰玛·阿特登饰演﹚，一个出租车司机，和一个毒贩小喽罗﹙弗朗茨·德拉姆饰演﹚，分别代表伦敦市民的三个阶级。。British Army radiation drills at a remote Scottish base attract a subterranean, radioactive entity of unknown nature that vanishes, leaving two severely radiation-burned soldiers... and a "bottomless" crack in the earth. Others who meet the thing in the night suffer likewise, and with increasing severity| it seems to be able to "absorb" radiation from any source, growing bigger...。
