这部精美的动画短片由编剧/导演威尔·麦柯马克和迈克尔·戈维尔联手打造。在悲剧发生后，一对父母失去了孩子，伤心欲绝的他们要面对随之而来的失落感。。现代日本出现“锈蚀之风”，以东京爆炸洞为中心，在全日本不断吹拂，风化一切事物，摧毁文明。锈蚀之风出现的原因已不可考。人类为了生存，在各县边界筑起防风高墙，围城在日本成为常态。而东京、埼玉等以前曾经繁荣过的城方，则已经成为“北埼玉铁沙漠”等人类不能生存的地方。锈蚀之风亦会令人类患上不治之症“锈蚀病”。赤星毕斯可是人称“食人菇赤星”的“蕈菇守护者”。他为了寻求传说中能够医治锈蚀病的灵药“食锈”，跟师父贾维从群马前往忌滨。。A group of young pilots in a remote region of the Canadian wilderness begin to hear strange reports over their radios about planes crashing, cars stalling and a deadly plague which has gripped the planet. It becomes clear that earth is in the midst of an invasion. The group of pilots decide to barracade themselves in a cabin deep in the woods and wait for their impending doom.。
