方慧兰是国宝级医学院士，在医学研究室废寝忘食的研发出特效药后，亲自去救病危的孩子，前往救治的路上却被孩子的父母污蔑撞伤孩子，方院士蒙受冤屈，孩子母亲态度嚣张，肆意欺辱殴打，殊不知方慧兰是国宝院士，还摔碎了孩子唯一的救命药……。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
