该剧讲述癌症患者乐观勇敢面对生命与死亡的故事。张幸福是一名45岁的中学老师，本应有着幸福美满的家庭生活，然而一个偶然的情况下她得知了自己罹患末期癌症。张幸福本打算瞒着家人放弃治疗，用生命的最后一百八十天帮助丈夫、儿子、弟弟、婆婆等安排好生活，之后一个人静静迎接死亡。但是她的强势与急于求成并没有得到家人的配合，反而引发了一系列令人啼笑皆非的故事。在张幸福与家人互相磨合与较量的过程中，她懂得了如何去理解与倾听他人，也重新发现了生活与爱情的意义，明白果断选择死亡并不是真正的勇敢，为了自己与家人抓住一切希望活下去，才有令生活更加幸福的可能。最终她直面绝症，选择了与病魔抗争到底。。OXFAM has launched a report showing that the richest 1% of the population owns the same wealth as the other 99%.
